The board will provide strategic guidance and fresh insight to help the company achieve its long-term objectives. We warmly welcome its inaugural members, Bob Lord, Rick Orloff, and Matthew Waxman to the GRA Quantum family.
Bob Lord is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Yahoo Inc. He has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity that includes positions at industry leaders Rapid7, Twitter, Red Hat, AOL, and Netscape. He holds several patents and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago.
Rick Orloff is a Vice President and the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) at Code42, a real-time data recovery firm with a number of Fortune 500 clients. Before Code42, Rick was Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at online auction giant eBay and Senior Director of Information Security and Security Operations at Apple. Rick has sat on the advisory boards of Raytheon Cyber Products, Area 1 Security, Box Inc., and Oracle.
Matthew Waxman is the Liviu Librescu Professor of Law at Columbia Law School, where he chairs the national security law program. An expert in national security and international law, he previously served in senior positions at the US State Department, Department of Defense, and National Security Council. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and he is also a Co-Chair of the Cybersecurity Center at the Columbia Data Science Institute.
